Business networking is very important if you want to create new business connections, no matter if we are discussing about gaining knowledge or actually creating bridges between businesses. It just depends on the scale of the event, and its type ?while something strictly dedicated to a niche business might be filled with presentations and seminaries, something on a larger scale may stick to typical networking occasions.

One of the most common examples of business networking are medical conferences. Hundreds of doctors from around the world are called to one place where they discuss about new techniques and new developments. While being a doctor is not necessarily a business, the concept stays the same ?people sharing the same interest come to learn more about how they can improve their technique.

You would be amazed how much open mind this type of event is able to induce ?you tend to drop your usual conceptions in regards to what it means to own your business, and you see other people's ideas and how they succeeded or failed at applying them.
